Sexta-feira dia 19 na San Diego Comic Con ouve o Eisner Awards, a premiação de mais prestígio dos quadrinhos, dentre os destaques da noite tivemos Tom King, escritor que teve grande presença na fase Renascimento da DC, escrevendo as histórias mensais do Batman e a minissérie do Senhor Milagre, e contamos com a presença da brasileira Adriana Melo, que ganhou o prêmio de Melhor Antologia.
Os principais vencedores da noite foram a DC Comics levando 6 prêmios, First Second com 5 prêmios, o empate da Image e IDW com 4 prêmios e Marvel Comics com 3.
