Junji Ito se destaca junto com Brubaker, confira os vencedores do Eisner 2021

Mesmo com a pandemia, com as restrições, a indústria da nona arte não parou e continuou brindando os leitores com obras maravilhosas, e no dia 23 de julho, foram anunciados os vencedores do Prêmio Eisner 2021, o que rendeu algumas surpresas.

Considerado o grande Oscar dos quadrinhos norte-americanos que acontece durante a San Diego Comic Com, religiosamente todos os anos, durante a pandemia ela ocorreu de forma virtual, na Comic-Con at Home.

O grande vencedor da noite foi Gene Luen Yang por Superman Smashes the Klan, que ganhou nas categorias: Melhor Publicação Infantil e Melhor Adaptação de Outra Mídia. E também ganhou por Dragon Hoops em Melhor Publicação para Adolescentes.

Logo em seguida existem duas obras que ganharam alguns prêmios de destaque como: Jimmy Olsen e A Solidão de um Quadrinho Sem Fim. A cerimônia também contou com a premiação dos autores: Junji Ito, Ed Brubaker, Stan Sakai e Simon Hanselmann.
